[Case Study] Improving the Anti-Fog Performance of Surveillance Cameras
Creating a safer society by applying protective glass that responds to environmental changes to surveillance cameras.
Cameras are installed on the railway platform to ensure the safety of passengers by the crew. Additionally, cameras are also installed in the vehicles, allowing the driver to monitor the boarding and alighting status of passengers on a monitor in the driver's seat. Typically, surveillance cameras are housed in enclosures. Fogging of the enclosure's window is a major enemy in maintaining clear image quality. However, outdoor surveillance cameras installed on platforms often fog up due to humidity, snowfall, and freezing, leading to a demand for maintenance-free protective glass. In response, our company proposed "Heater Glass" to prevent fogging outdoors, contributing to safety assurance on station platforms. [Case Overview] ■ Issue: Surveillance cameras exposed outdoors are prone to fogging due to weather and temperature, making it difficult to ensure passenger safety. ■ Solution: Prevent fogging through the heating of ITO transparent conductive film in Heater Glass. ■ Featured Product: Heater Glass *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
